The Crew
It was a marathon of sleep over’s! My son asked if there was any way he and his 2 best friends could have sleep over’s at each of their houses on consecutive nights. At first I thought it was crazy but then I thought about how much fun I would have had as a kid if I had been able to do that. So, I got in touch with each of the moms involved and they are each so kind hearted they said yes. It started Sunday night and ended at my house on Wednesday. We finished with a day at Kentucky Kingdom. They all had a great time it was like a little camp.
It helps as a mom to remember what it was like to be a kid. When we can put ourselves in the place of our child our perspective looks completely different. Obviously, I will never give my children everything they want because they are not informed enough understand what they really need. My children don’t make the important decisions in my household but if I can help them in making memories of fun times with friends I will because I still remember all the fun I had with my friends.
