Spring flowers from the garden a few years ago
Are we ready for the tiny buds of flowers to burst through the cold soil and spring into our lives yet? Everyone I know is saying “Yes!!! Please let this snowy, cold, winter be over!!” Except for my children who know how to embrace the beauty of the snow. The fun of sledding, the joy of a surprise day off of school and the feel of a snowball being packed against their winter gloves.
If our hearts and faith were as open, appreciative and impulsive as a child’s how different would our lives be?
Today, try to live in the present moment, appreciate the little gifts and enjoy where you are right now. Spring will come in it’s good time for now embrace this winter day.
