Central Park

Central Park

Last night my husband and I enjoyed a date night. We had dinner and then went to Central Park for a free play in the Park. It is part of the Shakespeare summer series. I knew it would be a free play so my expectations were not high. The cast was from the Jewish Community Center. West Side Story is one of my all time favorite plays. I was floored when Tony opened his mouth to sing and then Maria. The entire cast was excellent. The dancing and choreography was beautiful. It was a warm, delightful night under the stars listening dreamy eyed to the singing. Then before they said their vows my husband held my hand. We used the vows from West Side Story for our wedding.

I have said it before, I will say it again, date nights are so important! It is a great time to get away as couple to remember why you became a couple. Schedule one ASAP!
