Jesus Christ has a personal relationship with each person who wants one. Jesus Christ came as the “person” of the Triune God, relating to each one of us one on one. When he left he gave us the Holy Spirit to be with all of us and to impart the wisdom and knowledge so that we could continue the work of God in our everyday lives. We do this through the example Jesus shows us of loving one person at a time within the context of a personal relationship.
