In our lives there are mandatory responsibilities we take care of daily. We must sleep, eat, bathe, work, pay our bills, and raise our children. As humans living in this day and age it is overwhelming to complete and stay up to date with all of our responsibilities. As parents, normally, we double or triple our responsibilities. These things we do must be done daily! Sometimes, it feels like we are carrying the weight of the world.

What we have lost is the perspective that these same “mandatory responsibilities” are actually opportunities for growth, gratitude, and awareness.

So, you are probably thinking how on earth can I look at paying bills as an opportunity? Think about all the people in the world that don’t have a home, electricity, cell phones, running water, a car, or any type of media to pay for. How can you look at working as an opportunity? If you have a job you have an opportunity to have shelter, food, and all the necessities of living. How can you look at raising children as an opportunity? Do I really have to answer that question? How lucky are you to be a parent?

It’s all mindset if you can flip your mindset you can change your life.

Here is your challenge for the day: Make at least 3 parts of your day an opportunity when it seems like drudgery and see what happens.
