One Step Closer, April 20, 2016

We need to take the time to find our center, examine our lives, and our sins, then start the mission and passion God has given each of us. God is my center but it doesn’t mean I don’t have to change my behavior for the better. I am teaching my students the importance of moral decision making. If they stop, search out the facts, think about consequences and give creative ideas and alternatives, considering the other people involved and pray for guidance (this is the stop sign I teach my students) then they have the opportunity to make a moral decision. Then we are one step closer to our relationship with God. Morality is all about using our experience, education, and God’s providence and wisdom to guide us in the direction God wants us to go.
