Nineteen years ago I met a guy who I thought was cute and kind of funny. Eighteen years ago I really got to know him and found out he was hilarious. Seventeen years ago I said yes to him when he asked me at sunset to spend the rest of my life with him. Almost fifteen years ago before God my family and community I dedicated my life to him in the sacrament of marriage. We have four beautiful blessings that could only be created by the hand of God in our lives. We have lived together, grown together, cried together, lost together, celebrated together and loved one another unconditionally. When I say that I am married to my soul mate, the love of my life I do not say that lightly but with great sincerity. There is no one on this earth that gets me, my glances, my failings, my permagrin, my craziness, my dedication, my inspiration, my faith, my love more than him. I have literally thanked God for him thousands of times. He is my rock, my joy, my best friend, my lover, my security, my dream, my reality, my husband. There is no one in this life that I would ever want to dedicate my life to more than my husband Aaron. I love him beyond words. Nineteen years ago I met a guy now I live with and love a man, a man I am crazy about who still gives me goose bumps. Happy Valentine’s Day Aaron. Thank you for being MINE!
