The American Flag
Rarely do we consider our independence as a nation. We are free and we take it for granted. We can talk, gossip, rant, rave, compliment or complain about anyone or anything at any time and not worry about being persecuted for it. We can pray, believe, not believe or worship and be a member of any religion or no religion at all without force. We can have a home, drive a car teach our children and live the American dream right here day in and day out. Although our system is flawed and politicians do not always live up to their promises we have the best government in the world.
Today, appreciate these freedoms; say a prayer for those who gave their lives so we can live this way.
