God loves you no matter what you do or don’t do.
God’s love for you is unfailing. Of course God wants you to love Him back, to be the best version of yourself, to love others and creation. God gave you the free will to choose whatever path you desire. But no matter what you think or do God never stops loving you.
When you feel distant from God it’s because you walked away from God. God never moved. Sin is ANYTHING that distances you from God. Say your sorry and move closer to God. But know that God has never moved away from you. God loves you unconditionally from your creation through your life into your eternity! Now, that is something that should make you smile:)
