Flowers from my son
On Easter Spencer gave me the first few flowers of springtime. Yesterday, Jake gave me another bunch of flowers. There is nothing so sweet as watching your children pick flowers for you. They always have that sweet cautious smile that says, I hope she likes it, but will she? It is such a small yet thoughtful act of kindness.
Today, think of a sweet but simple act of kindness you can do for someone else. Write an email just to say something nice and nothing more. Stop by someone’s house and say hello. Give a friend an unexpected hug. The unexpected acts of kindness are the best kind.
