The rock candy was simply sweet, sparkly, tasty and pretty and just another of many flavors of our lives.
What flavor is your life? Is your life sour, does it suck all the sweetness out of the good times? Is your flavor sweet and you find goodness in everything? Is your flavor spicy and hot, are you energized and on fire by all situations? Is your flavor bland, are you bored with it all? Or is your flavor a little bit of each part sprinkled in for good measure? Moderation in all things is the key to a balanced life. We need a little bit of this and a little bit of that to be whole. My life flavor would be sweet/sour combination. God is using those many sour days to strengthen me, although there are more sweet days to relish in His loving kindness. Have a blessed day.
