Finally, my 1st day, January 3, 2018 Daily Reflection

I can’t believe today is the day I start Sacred Heart!!! I have been waiting for this day for four months!! I am so excited to meet new people, new students, and become a part of the culture. The opportunity for growth is unbelievable there. The principal told me how much she supports and encourages continued education of all sorts. I have already found a few conferences and classes of interest. I am also excited about having one position and dedicating my creativity and time to it, rather than being pulled in 4 directions at the same time.

It was sad to say goodbye to my students. I will miss them. It was an emotional trip down the halls of Holy Cross for the last time. However, the break was an incredible time for me to live in that and let it go. This was the first break I have had nothing hanging over my head that needs to be worked on including my Masters. It was very relaxing and a great way to renew and revitalize myself for my newest calling as a retreat director.
