Animals feed on the earth’s creation for physical growth. What then does humanity feed on for spiritual growth? What feeds your spirit, your soul? What do you allow to feed you in your every day life? What do you listen to? Who do you follow? What ideas do you believe? What perspectives do you align yourself with?

Materialism is insatiable, pride and honor continuously unattainable, the ways of the world; selfish and individualistic, lack of compassion accepted as normal.

One came to this world in the form of the Logos, the word of God, in poverty, with no pride or honor, no materialistic desires, able to serve the needs of others, so compassionate and merciful was he that he healed and forgave those who tortured and killed him. Selfless to the point of death. God’s son Jesus Christ showed us the example while on this earth and sent us the Holy Spirit to feed us, gave us his body and blood to nourish and strengthen our souls, and gives us his friendship so that we might grow closer to God’s love and mercy.

Who feeds you? Who do you want to feed you? The choice is yours each and every day…
