Faith Filled Mom Retreat Sept 10th

Have you ever felt the Holy Spirit work through you? Have you ever experienced the high you get from speaking to others about God, prayer and a vocation from God that you are passionate about in this life? Have you ever been in a place where you knew no one but after a few hours you knew everyone?

This weekend me and Jenny Schiller led another Faith Filled Mom retreat for a local parish. It is an amazing experience when the Holy Spirit just takes me and fills me up so that I can give to others. Moms entered that space Saturday morning a little unsure, maybe a bit nervous but all ready to retreat from their families for a few hours. They were young moms with babies at homes, moms of grade school kids, moms of high school kids, grandmothers and great grandmothers. They all came for a common purpose to be with one another a group of women; moms who wanted to be supported and to support one another and that’s just what they did. There was lots of laughter, a few tears, many hugs and relaxed sighs heard throughout the day. They were given encouragement, inspiration, tips for stress management and new ideas for prayer. Most of all they were given the support of other moms who are on the journey of a lifetime with them.

Moms don’t have the time to take a retreat; no one really has the time in this culture. But we need to take the time to re energize so that we can keep on keeping on with our family. Moms need to take time to get away and be with other moms who understand the challenges of motherhood. Moms need to relax, restore and renew – YOU!

If you are interested in bringing the Faith Filled Mom Retreat to your church or organization please email me and I will get it all set up. There is nothing out there like this retreat and I assure you from the evaluations that we received every mom left relaxed, restored and renewed. Many of them left with new friends.

I thank God daily that He is leading me in this direction. I truly love what I do; writing, creating and leading retreats to bring people closer to God and one another!!
