Easter, Sunday Tidbit April 16, 2017

It was wonderful that Jesus was born and his birth is celebrated on Christmas day. His message of non-violence, peace and inclusion were beautiful. His teaching was counter cultural to his time and culture. His healing, forgiving and miracle working were inspirational. His death on the cross was sacrificial and admired by all. However, his entire life and all his teachings would be considered valuable but he would not be considered God without the resurrection. Without the resurrection there would be NO Christianity. Easter is the reason why anything is known about Jesus Christ at all. Without the resurrection Jesus would be just a man instead of the Son of God, whom he is! I thank God for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter!
