2015 Bridge Construction 2My husband and I were able to have a date recently. We took a long walk across the Big Four Bridge. If you have not visited it yet, you must put it on your to do list! We observed the construction of the new bridge. It is amazing how people and machines can build something so massive. One person, one idea, one hand, one tool, one machine at a time coming together can create amazing structures.

The construction will take over a year or so to produce the finished product. Construction always seems messy and most of the time intrusive. However, it takes time to bring these ideas, people, and works together to build something worth while.

We are under construction in our lives constantly. It is usually messy and intrusive. When we decide to change something in our lives and leave the neat and normal routine it usually flips things upside down. In the middle of it all we usually wish we could just go back to normal. We need to remember that moving forward is beneficial and is worth the effort. We should be under constant construction so that we may evolve to our full potential. Just remember in the middle of the dust and mess of our own construction the finished product will be worth it with God’s guidance.
