Our little snowman
The tree is up, lights are strung, but not one ornament is on the tree yet. Rarely is my entire family home at the same time. If we are someone is studying, or about to leave for work or practice. We are hoping to start decorating with ornaments this weekend. It is a long process for us. I think it looks awesome with just the lights!
There is something magical about this time of year. I find so much joy in the lights on the houses, and the decorations everywhere. I like to pretend it is about the joy of our dear Savior’s birth. The secular Christmas of Santa and no mention of Jesus Christ, at least still attempts to find joy in the gathering of family and friends. Regardless of the reason the season is celebrated I am pleased to see the colors, decorations, and trees lit up everywhere. Decorations are like a treat for my eyes.
