Childhood Friends
I can name my childhood friends and some of the moments that are etched into my soul forever. I had the good fortune to have dinner with a few of my childhood friends recently. My how the years have changed our appearances but if you look deeply enough you can see the little girls in each of us. Traces remain of that time frame within our words and laughter. Every person, every event, every memory has brought us to this moment. Our childhood friends helped to form who we are today. I encourage you to take the time to find your childhood friends, get together and hear that laughter once more.
I still have my best friend of 40 years. We met when we were five. I also ran into a friend from grade school and high school at an AHS function. Some of them i have run into over the years and even though we have changed, i do remember…..thanks Lori.
