Praying before the meet

I went to Catholic Schools from 1st grade through 12th grade. My Catholic School Education is invaluable to me. My husband was blessed with the same past. We both realized how important a Catholic education would be for our children. We have sacrificed over the years and will sacrifice even more in the years to come so that our children will be able to continue their catholic education in high school. Next year when my oldest son will be a junior, my daughter will be a freshmen and my two younger boys will still be in grade school the total cost of their education for ONE year will be $30,000! Yep, you read that correctly. But to us it is worth every penny.

My husband and I learned more than math, science, reading and social studies. We were taught how to open our minds through scriptures, our faith through prayer and how to treat others with respect and dignity. A faith based education goes beyond the content to teaching a student how to embrace faith and live a good life with God and family at the core of it all.

Two of my sons were in this picture. It looks like they are about to cheer before the cross country meet but what they are doing is praying as a team. Something that can only be done in a faith based school. I am a product of a Catholic Education and proud to say my children will be too.
