Small gifts from God, June 25 Saturday Tidbit

Towels drying on the porch railing

Standing on the porch rolling up the pool towels dried from the sun and fresh with the strong scent of chlorine on them, I heard the distant hum of a lawnmower. I looked up to the evening sky with the faintest blue just barely visible and noticed a spider web right above my head. The crickets were beginning their serenade and the heat of the day had lost itself into a lovely evening. I stood there and took it all in…summer time…nature…the small and precious gifts of God.
