“Look at the old time phone mom!” My son shouted to me from across the room at the retro ice cream parlor on Valentine’s Night. Old fashioned, I had one similar to that when I was a kid! How quickly does the time fly? How often do our children make us feel like we are a part of history?
Well, I guess we just have to accept the fact that we are aging and so are our children. One day their children will say “Mom look at this ancient IPOD Touch!” Then it will be their turn to be a part of history! So it goes in life. We just have to appreciate every second we have history, present and the future because it truly is a gift from God.
