No, it’s not just another day off, it’s the recognition and celebration of a man who changed our society and culture. Martin Luther King Jr. had the courage to lead a nation to change. He did not do it alone he did it with many others who stood up against the culture of the time who did not believe in civil rights. Anyone who believes that one person cannot make a difference doesn’t know history. Today, take a moment to thank God for people like Martin Luther King Jr., who dedicated their lives for the good of others, without violence, and with love. It only takes the love and passion of one person to change the world one action at a time. Nope, it’s not just a day off of work, it is a lesson we should all learn from this great man.
