Faith Filled Mom Retreat this past weekend

When was the last time you gave yourself a break? I don’t mean a 10 minute break away from the kids…I don’t mean locking yourself in the bathroom and covering your ears…I don’t mean when the kids go to sleep and you fall into a vegetative state in front of the TV. What I mean is when was the last time you took a 6 hour break that you as MOM deserve so much? Have you ever just given the kids to your spouse, your parents or a babysitter so you could get away on a retreat?

I created the Faith Filled Mom Retreat so that moms could have a “retreat” from their normal way of life. It is a safe place filled with other moms of all ages from Great Grandmas to brand new moms, sharing their experiences of the journey of a lifetime. In this place they find support from one another, acknowledgement that this is a vocation from God, ideas for how to manage their daily stress and motivation to keep up the good work.

If you are too busy to attend a faith filled mom retreat then this retreat is just for you. I understand our state of busyness – I am the mom of 4 kids under the age of 13. This retreat will bring you a sense of calm and peace you have not experienced in other places. We have been leading the retreats within different parishes in hopes to bring the moms of that parish closer together and it is working. If you are interested in bringing this retreat to your parish or mom’s organization let me know. You can search but you will not find another retreat that is anything like the Faith Filled Mom Retreat. To learn more about it check out my retreat page or email me. Consider giving the gift of a Faith Filled Mom Retreat to yourself this Christmas…it is a gift that will last a lifetime.
